2. Inspire other healthcare organizations to deliver excellent patient value.

3. Celebrate the hard work of all organizations and teams focusing on delivering excellent patient value.

The theme of  years’ exclusive event will be: Working together for Patient Value. Together we can focus the healthcare system on the interaction where true value is created: between patients, their family, the medical specialists and their team. These parties deserve a central spot in this year’s event.

The VBHC Prize

The VBHC Prize rewards those projects that have adopted a fundamentally new line of thinking in creating excellent patient value in terms of real outcomes, real connections, and one common language. Each year, one excellent initiative is awarded the VBHC Prize, a prestigious award that boosts this initiative in many ways. The VBHC Prize winner will be awarded by a renowned jury, and announced by honorary chairman Harvard professor Michael Porter.

The VBHC Excellence Awards

Besides awarding the VBHC Prize 2016 winner, three initiatives are awarded with Excellence Awards who have outstanding focus and results on Patient-Outcomes, Cost-Effectiveness or Collaboration.
